About Kim

Kim Muhlen is a Principal in the D4G team and an integral part of the D4G team of practitioners. Kim has developed innovative models of economic development which focus on the client, ensuring opportunities for business growth and development are sustainable and translated with a unified plan within governance frameworks, which are well developed and understood. Such opportunities are cross sectorial and enable opportunity for business and the broader community.

Kims’ core expertise is in community and economic development, supporting individuals, business and co-operatives. Kim has consulted and collaborated with all tiers of government, chambers of commerce, industry representatives’ medium and small business owners.

Kim has a Bachelor of Applied Science and has over 25years of experience working with a variety of clients including indigenous communities, women, young people, the tobacco industry, regional communities and the resource sector throughout Australia.

 

Experience

Kim has held positions, on the:

  • Regional Development Australia (Hume) Advisory Board
  • Bendigo Bank (Bright) Board of Management
  • Business Boroondara Network Advisory Board and Mentoring Program
  • Sheridan Hall (Caulfield) Corporate Body – Aged Care

Kim has been and continues to be an active volunteer and member of a number of community groups and agencies, including;

  • Alpine Club of Victoria
  • Mt Hotham Racing Squad Committee of Management
